A BILL to amend article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, by adding thereto a new section, designated section
seventeen, relating to authorizing the board of embalmers and
funeral home directors to promulgate a legislative rule
relating to general provisions.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

That article nine, chapter sixty-four of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be
amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section
seventeen, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 9. AUTHORIZATION FOR MISCELLANEOUS AGENCIES AND BOARDS TO
PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-9-17. Board of embalmers and funeral home directors.

The legislative rule filed in the state register on the
eighteenth day of August, two thousand, under the authority of
section three, article six, chapter thirty, of this code, modified by the board of embalmers and funeral home directors to meet the
objections of the legislative rule-making review committee and
refiled in the state register on the twenty-sixth day of February,
two thousand one, relating to the board of embalmers and funeral
home directors (general provisions, 6 CSR 1), is authorized.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Board of
Embalmers and Funeral Home Directors to promulgate a legislative
rule relating to General Provisions.
